As a first time yoga student, or an individual with an ongoing practice, enjoy a class series featuring in depth exploration of the foundational principles of the tree of Yoga: internal and external disciplines; postures; breath work; sensory focus; concentration; awareness and meditation.

Joyful Joints

Class Location: The Academy of Performing Arts, 392 Butterfield Road, Chino Valley
A gentle introduction to Yoga for individuals with joint pain, reduced motion and balance challenges. Supportive postures are chosen to avoid weight bearing through the wrists and on the knees. Transitions up and down from the floor are minimized. Ballet bars assist with balance. Meditations are enhanced through guided imagery and the use of sound. Discover the fun power of hand yoga through the use of mudras.

Vinyasa Yoga

Class Location: The Academy of Performing Arts, 392 Butterfield Road, Chino Valley
A flow style of Yoga focusing on smooth and balanced transitions as one asana unfolds into another on the river of the breath. Students should have prior exposure to basic Yoga postures to prepare for this class.
