Learn simple tools to empower ANY weight management approach you are using at the series of 5 meetings. Class sizes are limited due to the personalized nature of the program.

Presenters:

  • Kathleen Williams of Balanced Nutrition Inc. is a Registered Dietitian, with an advanced practice certificate in adult nutrition.
  • Laura Kennedy, NMD, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) Health Walk Medical Clinic, received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and a masters in science from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture.
  • Aaron Kravetz of Prescott Tai Chi is certified in Clinical Hypnosis and is a Trainer of NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming). For over 29 years, he has taught Mindfulness through meditative techniques, self hypnosis and Tai-Chi.
  • Cheryl Van Demark PT, RYT of Health in Motion LLC and the Body Language Studio, is a Physical Therapist, Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist with a master’s degree in  physical education.

Cherly Van Demark will be an instructor in several upcoming Yoga Teacher Training Programs

  • Yoga Shala of Prescott, Arizona.  Yoga anatomy workshop, Feb. 4 -5, 2012.
  • Pure Heart Yoga of Beullton, CA. The program includes in-depth  study of yoga posture, breathing, mediation, yoga philosophy, yoga related anatomy as well as basic Sanskrit.  Graduates will receive certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance.
  • Integrative Yoga Therapy – Cheryl will present The Body Systems as a faculty member at the  Professional Yoga Therapist program in Tucson March 25- April 7 2012.

Health in  Motion is now offering yoga classes at the Academy of Performing Arts in Chino Valley, and the Chino Valley Review has an article featuring Cheryl Van Demark.

“Yoga is a holistic approach to life, which helps with mind, body and spirit. Yoga asana (physical postures) require your undivided attention to your breathing, which is the cornerstone of all yoga practices,” Cheryl said.
