Program Objectives:
Strengthen muscles, bones and ligaments in the spine and weight bearing joints through a variety of exercise and mindful movement practices.
Embody physical and mental principles of alignment to improve dynamic control and support of the entire physique.
Enhance your natural energy as a vehicle to improve circulation, respiration, metabolism, digestion and to relieve pain.
Introduce techniques from a varietyof the self healing arts to facilitate relaxation and enhance the bodys natural capacity for healthful living.
Share evolving health information on optimizing joint health, physical fitness and cultivating body/mind/spirit wellness through the lifespan.
Interact with a community of motivated peers navigating similar health challenges with humor and courage.
Cultivate positive attitudes and health behaviors to stimulate you to embark on a life long commitment to your health and wellbeing.

PROGRAM FEES:
Take the full Joint Investors Program or register for separate program components. Get a 15% price break when you sign up for the full program AND an additional 15% discount for cash payment.

Includes Mindful Movement & Arthritis Education Classes and Aquatics and small group weight training with the physical therapist.

Full Program Plus Option: for an additional $55/month, enjoy full access to the Athletic Performance Center through gym membership. (This fee is not billable to insurance.)
Individual Program Fees
- Mindful Movement and Arthritis Education Class (8 classes) : $160
- Aquatics Exercise Class (16 classes) : $75 (minimum of 8 participants)
- Small Group Weight Training with the physical therapist : $120 / 3 sessions, $216 / 6 sessions or $320 / 10 sessions (minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants per session)
- Individual personal training or private yoga session with the physical therapist: $85 / hr.
Payment Policies
Full payment for program fees via cash or check is due by the registration deadline for all participants. Spring 2010 session deadline is March 31.
Health in Motion program fees paid out of pocket may qualify for use with health savings accounts with physician referral. Consult your financial advisor.
There are no refunds for missed classes; however up to 2 make-up sessions are allowed in subsequent Joint Investors sessions.
Medicare plans may be billed by Health In Motion on behalf of participants with physician referral for “physical therapy - Health in Motion program.” As a non-participating Medicare provider, Health in Motion will first collect program fees in full from participants, and then participants will be reimbursed by their Medicare plan for the portion of program fees covered by their Medicare plan, less deductibles and co-pays.
Non- Medicare participants with private health insurance may request the necessary paperwork from Health in Motion to submit their insurance billing independently. Physician referral for “physical therapy-Health in Motion Program” may be required as a pre-requisite for coverage. Participants are responsible to know the terms of their own health plan coverage.
